Welcome to Tamar Valley U3A.  Our website now allows you to join, renew and even enrol in a class Online in a few minutes. You can still pay membership via an Electronic Funds Transfer from your own bank, or pay online via Credit Card through secure links to our account through Member Wizard.

We have many courses in multiple venues on both sides of the Tamar on offer in 2025.  Some run most of the year, others run for a couple of months or a few weeks.  Here is a pdf of the 1st Semester 2025 Programme as at Dec 2024, but please do check the Courses Page frequently for NEW courses and to enrol in them.

If you are new to the Tamar Valley or to U3A, WELCOME!   We hope to see you at a class soon. You will find our members and tutors are friendly, welcoming and glad to have your company.

Tamar Valley U3A provides a stimulating learning and social environment for those aged 50 yrs young or more in our community.

The object of the Association is to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and learning among those in retirement or semi retirement and other mature interested people, within the Tamar Valley community.

Tutors and office bearers provide their service free.  Our aim is to keep the costs as low as possible.  The annual membership fee is $20 and entitles you to attend most classes without additional cost.  However from time to time, a small additional cost may be incurred to cover costs of materials etc, depending on the course.  Classes offered depend on the availability of volunteer tutors.

Volunteers for existing and new areas of interest are always welcome.
